Our therapists are skilled in addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
2. What age groups do you serve?
We serve individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. Our therapists tailor their approaches to meet the developmental and emotional needs of each age group.
3. Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
Yes, we offer in-person sessions at our Duluth location and virtual sessions throughout the state of Minnesota to make therapy as accessible as possible. You can choose whichever format best suits your needs.
4. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office directly (612-440-3499), by submitting a request through our website, or scheduling directly with our therapists on our provider page. Our team will follow up to match you with a therapist who fits your needs and schedule, and collect insurance or payment information.
5. Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance providers, including Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Medica, Medicaid, Medicare, UCare, and United Health. 6. What can I expect for my first session?
In the first session, you'll discuss your goals, concerns, and background with your therapist. This session is an opportunity for you to get comfortable, ask questions, and establish a foundation for your therapeutic journey. From there, our therapists will provide a diagnostic assessment, develop an individualized treatment plan, and work with you to figure out a session time and frequency that works best for you.
7. What types of therapy do you use?
Our therapists are trained in various types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBCT), Play Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy.
8. Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy is a top priority, and we follow all legal and ethical guidelines to ensure confidentiality. The only exceptions are situations involving harm to yourself or others, which we are required by law to report.
9. How often should I attend therapy sessions?
Frequency varies based on individual needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions, and over time, some may transition to biweekly or monthly sessions. Your therapist will work with you to create a schedule that best supports your progress.
